How to introduce your Cat to a new collar:

• When collaring your cat, please ensure a snug (not too tight) fit. The collar should be snug enough that your cat cannot touch the collar with its mouth, yet still have enough space to allow your cat to escape from the collar in case of emergency.
• If this is your cat’s first collar, we recommend getting them used to the feeling of having a collar around their neck. We want your cat to be as comfortable as possible, while still maintaining its safety. Begin by putting the collar on for a few seconds. Then remove the collar. Repeat this step, incrementally increasing the length of time the collar is on the cat’s neck. continue to monitor and supervise, until you feel that your cat is not bothered by the collar.

Angel style “collar size” refers to the length from one end of the leather strap to the other end, not including the buckle.
Please refer to the “neck size” for the actual fitting size.
For example, An Angel 24″ (61 cm) collar will not fit a 24″ (61 cm) neck. The 24″ (61 cm) size refers to the overall length of the leather strap. The 24″ (61 cm) Angel collar will fit any dog with a neck size between 17.5″- 22″ (44-56 cm). The optimal neck size for the 24″(61 cm) collar would be around a 20″ (51 cm) neck, as it would buckle at the middle hole.
